RECORDING MOVIES USING THE LCD
MONITOR
Set the Mode dial to .
Compose the picture using
the LCD monitor.
Press the Shutter release
button halfway. The exposure
and focus are locked and the
green lamp next to the
viewfinder lights.
• Also refer to AUTOFOCUS
(p. 54).
Press the Shutter release
button fully. Recording starts.
To end recording, press the
Shutter release button fully
again.
• The seconds remaining appear
on the LCD monitor.
• The lower image memory
block will light and the camera
will start storing the image in
the card.
• Unless the card is full, the next
movie can be recorded even
while the image is being
stored, until all of the blocks
light.
