4.4 Replacing the Battery
Perform the following procedure to replace the battery of the DELTA handheld XRF analyzer. See also Figure 4-4 on
page 12.
To replace the battery
1. Hold the analyzer upside down by the handle, with the bottom of the analyzer base pointing upward, and the nose
pointing away from the operator.
2. Pull the rubber latch and lift the cover.
3. Pull the tab to remove the existing battery.
4. Insert the charged battery into the analyzer with the battery connectors facing to the left. The battery slot is keyed so
that the battery can only be inserted one way.
