Preparation
· Attach the fluorescence mirror units and objectives which are suitable for the observation method to be used. (P. 8 - 10)
· Center the mercury burner. (P. 13 - P. 14)
· Set the main switch @ of the BX-UCB control box.
Set the main switch to “ I ” (ON) and wait until
the arc image stabilizes (5 to 10 minutes).

Place the specimen on the stage.

Engage the mirror unit matching the speci-
