HD Mode (Digital Channel) Output Connection Options
The Output Menu contains a virtual patch bay for assigning the Omnia’s three different outputs to its two main
processing chains. Note that the two Composite MPX Outputs are always
connected to the conventional FM
processing blocks.
- The Analog outputs (XLR’s) follow the source selected, and de-emphasis is applied as selected in
the Output Menu.
- The AES-1 Output follows the source selected, and at the sample rate options provided in the
Output Menu.
- The AES-2 Output follows the source selected, and at the sample rates selected internally on the
Sample Rate Converter PC board. See the next page for the layout of the Sample Rate Converter
PC board and the location of the sample rate selection jumpers.
