Notes
To avoid interfering noise, switch off the subwoofer or set the output controls to minimum prior to connecting
and disconnecting equipment. A good cable run improves the sound quality remarkably. Signal cables
should be short and direct, since high frequencies will mostly be absorbed if cables are unnecessarily long.
Besides that a longer cable may lead to humming and noise trouble. If long cable runs are unavoidable, you
should use balanced cables. In order to obtain highest sound quality, only use high-quality cables.
BOB-4 satellite speakers
1) Connect the passive satellite speakers to the BOB-10A subwoofer’s speaker outputs (TO SATELLITE
LEFT/RIGHT) using the included connection cables. Up to four satellites per subwoofer output can be
operated in parallel at 4 ohms.
For locking the connection turn the plug to the right. For unlocking pull the unlock button and turn the
plug to the left and pull it out of the socket.
2) Via the rear screw terminals, the speaker signal is simply looped through to the next satellite.
To facilitate handling, the terminals can be removed from their plug-in connections and replaced after
connection. Make sure that all speakers have the same polarity
.
We recommend using speaker cables with
a conductor cross-section of at least 2.5 mm². Suitable cables are included in the accessory kit together
with the U-brackets.
