INSTALLING
DELUXE
REMOTE
CONTROL
This
control
includes
a
start-stop
switch
with
an
indicator
lamp,
a
running
time
meter
and
a
battery
condition
meter.
Install
and
connect
as
follows:
1.
Select
control
location.
Using
Figure
23
as
a
guide,
drill
screw
holes
and
cut
hole
to
accom¬
modate
remote
switch
in
panel.
2.
Following
national
and
local
electrical
codes
and
using
five
insulated
wires
of
predetermined
length
(#18
or
larger),
connect
remote
control
to
terminals
on
generator.
Ensure
that
leads
from
remote
control
connect
to
corresponding
ter¬
minals
on
generator
terminal
board.
See
Figure
Don’t
route
DC
wires
for
remote
control
through
conduit
containing
AC
load
wir¬
ing.
Induced
voltages
may
cause
erratic
operation.
3.
I
n
s
ert
remote
control
in
hole
cutout
and
secure
with
four
#5
woodscrews
supplied
with
switch.
To
prevent
noxious
gases
from
entering
vehi¬
cle
interior,
seal
any
openings
made
in
the
set’s
compartment
for
conduit,
wiring,
etc.
