OIL PUMP
Disassembly
Refer to Figure 7-3. Remove the capscrews holding
the oil pump cover to the
oil base. Separate the in-
ner and outer rotor.
Rotor Lobe Clearance
Refer to Figure 7-4. Measure the clearance be-
tween the inner rotor lobes and the outer rotor lobes
with a feeler gauge.
If clearance is not as specified
in
Dimensions and Clearances, replace oil pump.
