C. The pressure differential may be tested during a heating test where the
water in the system is heated up from cold state. If the resultant pressure
differential exceeds 60 kPa, the pressure expansion vessel is inappropriate and a
risk of pressure body damage is imminent.
10.6 BOILER CONNECTION WITH ANTI-OVERHEATING SAFETY
EQUIPMENT
In line with the ČSN EN 303-5 standard and Government Notice no.
182/1999 Coll., the H4 series boilers are fitted with a safety heat exchanger to remove
surplus heat, which must guarantee that the highest water temperature in the boiler, i.e.
110°C is not exceeded. The safety heat exchanger is designed as a through-flow water
heating facility controlled by a safety discharge valve positioned at the supply line.
The connection dimensions of the sleeves make it possible to use two types of
fixtures, namely, a TS 130 discharge fixture with a dual sensor manufactured by
Honeywell, or an STS 20 boiler anti-overheating element supplied by Watts. Our
product is certified for both of the types of fixtures.
