10.7 BOILER OPERATION SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
From the viewpoint of safety and economy, the appliance may only be serviced to
instructions given in the present manual.
The boiler may only be left unsupervised if the performance is adjusted in such a way
that the system cannot get overheated (subdued operation), or if it is fitted with an
appropriately adjusted and functioning capacity controller, yet even under
such conditions, it must be checked by the operator from time to time.
WARNING!!! In operation, some parts of the boiler (the stoking door,
cleaning or ash pan door, smoke flue) may be heated to a higher
temperature and a risk of burning injuries is imminent in the event of
contact with these parts.
The boiler may only be operated by adults familiar with the present manual. Children
must not be left unsupervised in the space of the appliance. It is prohibited to use
flammable liquids for heating the boiler up and to increase the boiler nominal power in
any way while the latter is in operation (overheating is possible subject to the maximum
values indicated in table 2).
The user may only perform common maintenance and/or replacements of the spare parts
supplied. They must not intervene with the structure of the boiler in any way, modify its
function or continue the operation of a damaged product.
Fuel Location - it is prohibited to stack fuel behind or next to the boiler within a
distance of 400 mm.
- the manufacturer recommends that the fuel be located at the
minimum distance of 1 m from the boiler or stored in a different
room than that which contains the boiler.
WARNING:
No objects made of flammable material may be placed on or within a smaller
distance than the safety distance of the boiler.
Some important principles that need to be observed in order to ensure safe and
economical operation of the boiler are:
Conscientious operators
Dry fuel of appropriate grain size – lignite grain I, fuel wood with 25cm and 30cm
long logs
Adequate operating chimney draft
