Second, ensure that the measurement area is correctly aligned; adjust the mounting position to center the target. Third, nearby high-temperature objects can interfere with readings; use a board or similar item to block the heat source. Finally, verify that the emissivity rate setting matches the target material.

  If the measurement value of your Optex Thermometer is unstable, it could be due to vibration affecting the sensor head. Try to prevent any vibration. Alternatively, rapid temperature changes affecting the sensor head may also cause instability. In this case, allow the sensor head to sit for a while until its temperature stabilizes.
