Connecting Your Phone to the Computer
You can copy your music, photos, and other les to the microSD
card of your phone.
NOTE: This option is available only when a microSD card is inserted
into the slot of your phone. While your phone is connected to a
computer, USB Mass storage mode prevents you from using appli-
cations that access the memory card.
1. Connect your phone to your computer using the supplied
USB cable.
2. Open the Notications panel > tap USB options.
3. On your computer, the connected phone is recognized as a
removable hard drive.
4. Navigate to the removable drive and open it.
5. Choose one of the following:
• Copy the les from the computer to the microSD
card’s root folder.
• Copy the les from the phone’s microSD card to afold-
er in your computer.
6. After copying the les, unmount the removable drive (that
is, your phone) as required by your computer’s operating
system to safely remove your phone.
7. After you have un-mounted the removable drive, you can
disconnect the phone from the computer.
