• None: Never use a screen lock.
• Swipe: Swipe the screen to unlock.
• Pattern: Create a pattern that you draw on the screen
to unlock your device.
• PIN: Select a PIN to use for unlocking the screen.
• Password: Create a password for unlocking the
screen.
NOTE: If you forget your pattern, PIN, or password, you will have
to reset your device to factory settings, which will remove all data
from your device.
Fingerprint
Use ngerprint recognition as an alternative to to unlock the de-
vice or to enter certain apps.
You can register up to 3 ngerprints. A pattern, password, or a PIN
will also be set as an alternative to your ngerprint.
To register a fingerprint,
1. Tap Security > Fingerprint under Device security.
2. Choose the required backp screen method.
• Fingerprint + Pattern
• Fingerprint + PIN
• Fingerprint + Password
Smart Lock
Smart Lock keeps your device unlocked when it is connected to a
trusted device or in a familiar location.
Security update
You can easily check the date of the last installed security software
update and nd out if newer updates are available.
