NOTE: Some locations do not charge for emergency calls, so
please check with your local service provider.
To make an emergency call
1. From the Home screen, tap
.
2. Enter your local emergency number.
3. Tap
to place the call.
4. Tap
to end the emergency call.
To make an emergency call when the Orbic TAB8 4G is locked
When your Orbic TAB8 4G has no service status,the Emergency
call button is displayed on the lock screen.
1. Tap Emergency call.
2. Enter your local emergency number.
3. Tap
to place the call.
4. Tap
to end the call.
Answering or Declining an Incoming Call
You can either answer or decline a call from the notication of the
incoming call that displays on the home screen.
To answer or decline a call
1. Press DECLINE to reject the call or press ANSWER to
answer the call.
• If you are already on a call, the rst call is placed on
hold when answering the new call.
• To silence the ringer before answering the call, press
the volume keys.
