Replacing the Filter
Under normal operating conditions the
Main Filter should be changed every six
months. Replace Odor Filter every three
months. The lters may need to be changed
more often in heavy use such as smoke or
dusty environments. You should have spare
lters available for later replacement.
Note: The lters are NOT washable.
1. When the lter light is illuminated, turn
the unit off and unplug it from the power
outlet.
2. Remove the door by holding the base of
the unit, pull door, rotate forward and
pull out.
3. Remove the used lter. Note: the Odor
lter is attached with Velcro® to the
main lter. The Odor Filter is an
optional feature. The unit will continue
to clean the air without it.
4. Remove the packaging from the new
lter(s).
5. The odor lter is reversible and attaches
to the Velcro® applied to the front of the
main lter. Place the lter(s) in the unit
according to the air ow direction arrow
as indicated on the main lter. Place new
lter(s) into the unit.
6. Replace the door by aligning and
inserting the two door tabs, located at
the bottom of the door, into the holes
provided on the unit frame.
Rotate the top of the door toward
the top of the unit and insure the
door snaps into place on both sides.
Velcro® is a registered trademark owned by Velcro Industries B.V. Limited Company Netherlands.
