We recommend that you lock your ELF when leaving it unattended. To do so, we
suggest using a U-lock with a cable attachment to run through the rear wheel or a portion
of the frame and around a post or bike rack to deter theft.
We also recommend that you make a note of your serial number when you purchase
your ELF. If your ELF is stolen, the serial number may be helpful in trying to recover the
vehicle. The serial number is etched into the frame of the ELF near the pedals.
