  If you're getting no picture on your Orion DVR, begin by checking both ends of the camera cable at the DVR and the camera to ensure they are securely connected. Also, confirm the camera has power by checking all cable and power supply connections and verifying the socket outlet/power point has power. Make sure that video display is made via VGA connection. Check the VGA cable connections at both ends and ensure connections are secure. Check the TV/monitor is powered up and on the right channel. Change the VGA cable if necessary. Change the DVR display format to PAL or NTSC. Connect DVR to another TV/monitor display. Finally, relocate the camera and DVR away from sun, rain, radio transmitting devices, heat sources, metal objects, or major obstacles to avoid electronic interference.
