SYSTEM PREPARATION CHECK BEFORE EACH USE:
The following checks MUST be carried out before every use in order to ensure the system is functioning properly.
1. CORRECTLY INSTALLING THE AVABAG SYSTEM (P)
Ensure that the AVABAG system (P) has been installed correctly. For this, the AVABAG system (P) must be
installed correctly, the activation cable with silver ball (O) must be able to pass through the feed channel with
no restrictions (J) and the AVABAG balloon (N) must be correctly folded (see pages – ).
WARNING: Incorrect installation can cause the AVABAG avalanche airbag to malfunction.
2. CORRECTLY MOUNTING THE ACTIVATION HANDLE (T)
The silver ball on the activation cable (O) must be easily visible in one of the two settings (W), so in
position L or S (see illustration). The position slider (X) must be firmly attached to the activation handle (T).
The guide bar (U) on the activation handle (T) must be inserted into the feed channel (J).
WARNING: Incorrect mounting can lead to unintended automatic activation
of the AVABAG avalanche airbag.
