APPENDIX 7: REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS
For the purpose of inspecting the insert itself or the fireplace, your insert may need to be
removed. To remove your insert follow these instructions:
• Remove the faceplate assembly (A) using the reverse steps of Appendix 3.
• If installed, take-off the backing plates (B) and (C) and the projection kit by removing the front
screws securing them to the insert.
• Remove the screws that secure the chimney liner to the fixation brackets (E).
• Unscrew the leveling bolts (F) located on each side of the insert.
• Pull-out the insert from the fireplace opening to perform the maintenance work.
