3 FUEL CHARACTERISTICS AND A
DESCRIPTION OF THE MACHINE
3.1 FUEL CHARACTERISTICS
3.1.1 Pellets
- Wood pellets (Fig. 3.1) are a compound composed
of various types of wood pressed with mechanical
procedures in compliance with environmental pro-
tection regulations. Pellets are the only type of fuel
which may be used for this stove.
- stove heat output and effi ciency may vary according
to the type and quality of wood pellets used.
For CLEMY to work correctly you have to burn pellets
with the following characteristics:
- size Ø 6-7 mm
- maximum length. 30 mm
- max. content of: humidity 8 ÷ 9%
- CLEMY is provided with a storage container for the
pellets with a capacity as indicated in the character-
istics table.

- The openings for loading the pellets must always
be easily accessible.

DANGER
It is prohibited to use the stove as an incinerator.
For reasons of temperature control, operation is
not possible with traditional fi rewood.
3.1.1.1 Storing the pellets

Keep the pellets in a dry place, not too cold.
We suggest keeping a few bags of pellets in the same
room as the stove or in an adjacent room provided both
the temperature and humidity levels are acceptable.
Damp and/or cold pellets (5°c) will not burn so well
and consequently the heat output will be less. It also
means more cleaning of the brazier (unburnt material)
and hearth.

Use care in storing and handling bags of pellets Avoid
breaking them, forming sawdust.
If sawdust gets into the stoves pellet container, it could
block the pellet feeding system.

3.1 BRENNSTOFFEIGENSCHAFTEN
3.1.1 Pellets
- Das Pellet oder die Holzpresslinge (Abb. 3.1) beste-
hen aus verschiedenen Holzarten und werden durch
ein mechanisches Verfahren und unter Beachtung
der Umweltschutznormen gepresst. Dieser Heizofen
kann nur mit Pellets betrieben werden.
- Die Effi zienz und Wärmeleistung des Heizofens
können je nach Art und Qualität der verwendeten
Holzpresslinge variieren.
Für einen korrekten Betrieb benötigt CLEMY Pellets
mit folgenden Eigenschaften:
- Abmessungen Ø 6 - 7 mm
- max. Länge 30 mm
- max. Inhalt Feuchtigkeitsgehalt 8 ÷ 9%
- CLEMY verfügt über einen Vorratsbehälter für Holz-
presslinge mit dem in der Tabelle der Kenndaten
angegebenen Fassungsvermögen.

- Die Öffnungen zum Einfüllen der Pellets müssen
immer leicht zugänglich sein.

GEFAHR
ES ist verboten, den Heizofen zum Einäschern zu
benutzen.
Aufgrund der Betriebstemperaturkontrolle kann der
Heizofen nicht mit traditionellem Holz beschickt
werden.
3.1.1.1 Lagerung der Pellets

Die Pellets müssen in einem trockenen, nicht zu kalten
Raum gelagert werden.
Es ist empfehlenswert, einige Säcke Pellets im selben
Raum des Heizkamins oder in einem angrenzenden
Raum mit geeigneter Temperatur und Feuchtigkeit
aufzubewahren.
Feuchte oder kalte (5°C) Pellets haben eine geringere
Heizleistung und bewirken, dass Brennraum (unver-
branntes Material) und Feuerstelle häufi ger gereinigt
werden müssen.

Gehen Sie bei Lagerung und Handling der Pelletssäcke
immer sehr umsichtig vor. Sie dürfen nicht zertrümmert
und in Sägespäne verwandelt werden.
Sägespäne im Behälter des Heizofens können zum
Blockieren des Pellet-Beschickungssystems führen.
