For Long and Trouble-Free Operation: Warning System
Warning System
When an error is detected after the power is turned on or during operation, the (POWER) lamp and a beep sound notify
you that an error has occurred.
Note:
If multiple errors occur simultaneously, the one with the highest priority is displayed.
1. System error
2. Format inconsistency
3. Card eject error
4. Recording error
Warning Details
Monitor display Displays the error code.
(power) lamp Flashes 4 times per second.
Beep sound Repeats rapidly.
Warning description A reference signal error or communica-
tion error occurred.
Recording/playback
operation
Stops.
Measure Check the error code table and consult
with your dealer.
Monitor display Displays the error code.
(power) lamp Flashes 4 times per second.
Beep sound Repeats rapidly.
Warning description SYSTEM mode is internally inconsistent
and a restart is required.
Recording/playback
operation
Not possible
Measure Turn the power off and then back on as
described in the message and then
check that an error is not displayed.
Monitor display Displays the error code.
(power) lamp Flashes 4 times per second.
Beep sound Repeats rapidly.
Warning description An error occurred in the internal memo-
ry of the unit because a P2 card was re-
moved during access.
Recording/playback
operation
Not possible
Measure Turn the power off and then back on as
described in the message. Check that
there is no problem with the clips on the
removed card and repair the clips if
necessary.
Monitor display Displays “REC WARNING.”
(power) lamp Flashes 4 times per second while re-
cording continues.
Beep sound Repeats rapidly.
Warning description A recording or recording circuit setting
error occurred.
Recording/playback
operation
Recording may continue or may stop.
Measure Resume recording. Alternatively, turn
the power off and then back on, and
then resume recording.
