For Long and Trouble-Free Operation
CARD ERROR <½½½½>
Displayed when a data error caused by the P2 card occurred during re-
cording.
It remains displayed after recording stops until the following operation is
performed.
Furthermore, it is displayed for 3 seconds when playback is stopped due
to a P2 card error during playback. (½½ is the slot number mark for indi-
cating where the error occurred.)
Replace the P2 card in the slot where the error occurred.
STOP
REC WARNING <REC DATA>
Displayed when an error occurs with the recording data during recording.
Turn the power off and then back on, then try again.

DIR NG CARD <½½½½>
The directory configuration is incorrect. Immediately back up the card
data and format the card before using it again.
(½½ is the slot number mark for indicating where the error occurred.)

RUNDOWN CARD <½½½½>
The card has been rewritten the maximum number of times. Replacing the
P2 card is recommended.

An SDHC/SDXC memory card is inserted in a microP2 memory card slot.

Operation will continue but recording to a microP2 memory card or P2

An SDHC/SDXC memory card is inserted in a P2 card slot.
Recording to an SDHC/SDXC memory card is not possible.

AUTH NG CARD <½½>
CPS authentication of the microP2 memory card failed.
(½½ is the slot number mark for indicating where the error occurred.)
Recording and playback are not possible with a microP2 memory card for
which CPS authentication has failed. Refer to “Manual and Automatic CPS
Authentication” ( page 46) and then change the settings.

STORAGE INTERMITTENT
Displayed for approx. 3 seconds when reduced storage device perfor-
mance or another factor has resulted in intermittent clip playback.
Use a storage device with higher specifications.

PB INTERMITTENT
Intermittent playback occurs with an SDHC/SDXC memory card. A card
for which playback performance cannot be guaranteed is inserted. Using
a microP2 memory card or P2 memory card is recommended.

PROXY ERROR Operation and cause:
Proxy data recording stops but the recording of this material continues.
Electric circuit error (PROXY ERROR)
Proxy data recording error (PROXY REC WARNING)
When a proxy data recording error occurs, the proxy data being record-
ed is processed as follows.
- The proxy data being recorded to a P2 card is deleted.
- The proxy data being recorded to an SD memory card is not deleted
or repaired.
