Installing the Software
The steps below must be taken before using the HSPA modem.
1 <For CF-H1 series>
Turn off the computer and set the computer to the Cradle.
Then, connect the CD/DVD drive and an external keyboard
to the Cradle.
<For CF-C1 series >
Turn off the computer and set the computer to the Port
Replicator (CF-VEBC11U), or connect the CD/DVD drive to
the computer.
<For CF-19/CF-U1 series>
Turn off the computer and connect the CD/DVD drive to
the computer.
<For CF-31 series>
Turn off the computer and insert the CD/DVD drive into the
multimedia pocket.
2 Turn on the computer, and run the Setup Utility by
pressing
F2
or
Del
while [Panasonic] boot screen is
displayed.
If [Enter Password] is displayed, input the Supervisor Password.
3 Select the [Advanced] - [Wireless Conguration]

menu,
and set [Wireless WAN] to [Enabled].

<For CF-C1/F9 series> : [Peripheral Conguration]
4 Save the settings and exit the Setup Utility.
5 Log on to Windows as an administrator.
If the [Found New Hardware Wizard] screen is displayed, click [Cancel] to
close the screen.
6 Install the Wireless WAN software by following
procedures.
A Set the Wireless WAN (HSPA) Software CD-ROM into the CD/DVD
drive.
“Installer Launcher” will start.
When “Installer Launcher” will not run automatically, run the launcher by
following procedure.
