Note: This phonebook mode is selectable only when
an device is paired and connected to this unit.

Press [VOL] (PUSH SEL).

Turn [VOL] to select each mode described
below:
“CONTACT”, “IMP.CONTACT”, “DELETE ALL”
Telephone directory information (con-
tact person)
You can store up to 50 contacts in the phonebook
and up to 3 phone numbers can be registered to each
contact.
Note: To use this function, the phonebook must be
imported to this unit from Bluetooth
®
mobile phone.

Press [VOL] (PUSH SEL) to display the contact
information.
d
You can make a call from the selected contact
number:
Turn [VOL]/press [VOL] to select to the desired
number or name and then press [PHONE] or
[VOL], the displayed number or name is called.
Note: When a contact is displayed, press [VOL] and
then turn [VOL] switch to delete an individual contact
confirmation screen, press [VOL] switch to confirma-
tion screen, press again to delete selected contact.
Phonebook import mode

Press [VOL] (PUSH SEL) switch to waiting status
for importing phonebook from
Bluetooth
®
mobile
phone.
Note:
Bluetooth
®
may disconnect temporarily from
your device and will reconnect automatically.
“WAITING” blinks.

Operate the Bluetooth
®
mobile phone to trans-
mit its phonebook directory data to this unit.
Notes:
¡ Up to 50 contacts’ data can be entered. When 50 th
data is entered, “COMPLETED” is displayed and no
more data can be imported. If you want to import
other phonebook data, please delete the phonebook
data from this unit at first.
¡ To use this import function, the mobile phone must
be compatible with Object Push Profile.
Phonebook data deletion

Press [VOL] (PUSH SEL) switch to confirmation
screen, press again to determine the deletion
for all phonebook data on this unit.
Note:
To use this function, the phonebook must be
imported to this unit from Bluetooth
®
mobile phone.
Phonebook search
You can search for the contact by its initial letter:

Press [ ].

Hold down [ ] for more than 2 seconds.

Turn [VOL] to select the initial character string
to be look up/searched (0 to 9 and A to Z).

Press [VOL] (PUSH SEL) to start up/search.
The corresponded result is displayed, you can make a
call by pressing [PHONE] when desired number/name
selection is done. (turn [VOL] for selection.)
Note: When the initial character string to be looked up
does not exist, “NO DATA” is displayed and returns to
previous screen.
