14.13 Economy Mode Operation
This operation is use to reduce electrical power consumption by adjusting the set temperature.
Economy operation starts when the ECO button is pressed during cooling or dry or heating operation.
During Cooling/Dry economy operation, target setting temperature will be adjusted by +2.0°C. Internal setting
temperature limit shift to maximum 35.0°C (maximum 33.0°C + 2.0°C Economy shift).
During heating economy operation, target setting temperature will be adjusted by -3.0°C. Internal setting
temperature limit shift to minimum 13.0°C (minimum 16.0°C - 3.0°C Economy shift).
During Economy operation, all indicators includes ECO indicator will be dimmed. The brightness level is
equivalent to indicator dim function.
Powerful, Quiet and Economy could not be operated at the same time. The unit will follow the latest setting of
these three operations.
The Economy operation stops when:
1 iAUTO-X button is pressed.
2 POWERFUL/QUIET button is pressed.
3 Operation OFF.
4 Received Economy signal from remote control again.
5 Received either Powerful or Quiet operation signal from remote control.

Note: The wire length from indoor unit to the external interface must be within 1.9 meters. The wire must be double
insulation type and a ferrite core to be added to reduce noise. Proposed core spec is J0KE00000147 with Heat
Shrinkage Tube.
The signal between indoor unit and the external interface must be isolated by photo-coupler of approval type (e.g:
Semko, VDE etc).
