SettingBacking up/restoring data
Backing up data
You can save the setting data, accumulated/distribution data, and log data to a USB memory device. You
can also backup over a network.

Touch [Save] for the items to be backed
up.
z Saving starts. When saving is complete, a message is
displayed.
z When backing up over a network, specify the location to
save to.
z To backup other items, repeat the same procedure.

Touch when you want to
disconnect the USB memory device.
z Remove your USB memory device after the message
“USB memory can now be safely removed” is displayed.
z Close the storage door after removing the USB memory
device.

Open the storage door and connect
a USB memory device to the USB
terminal.
z This step is not necessary if you are backing up over a
network.

Touch [Backup/CSV Output] in
“Settings”.
z The “Backup/CSV Output” screen is displayed.

Touch [Backup].
z The “Backup” screen is displayed.

y Backup les are generated once per day and saved within this unit. This procedure saves the backup les saved in this unit to a USB memory
device.
y The items you can back up are as follows:
Database backup Save accumulated/distribution data.
Main unit Set. Save schedule settings and group settings.
Log Save alarm logs and operation/status change logs.
y The time required for backup depends on the volume of data.
y The 4 types of backup le are icxsysset.zip, icxsyslog.zip, icxappset.zip, and icxapplog.zip.
y When backing up over a network, this operation is not possible if backing up from another terminal.
