Fried Eggs
A good recipe for the browning dish.
Serves: 1 to 4
Ingredients:
1 to 4 eggs (medium size) 1 to 4
1 to 2 butter 15 to 30 ml
Method:
Preheat a browning dish on HIGH for 4 to 5 minutes.
Add butter. Break eggs into browning dish. Cook on
HIGH for:
1 egg-15 to 20 seconds
2 eggs-20 to 30 seconds
4 eggs-30 to 40 seconds
Allow to stand for 1 minute before serving.
Bacon
Serves: 1 to 2
Ingredients:
2 rashers of bacon 2
Method:
Place rashers between two sheets of paper towel on
a dinner plate. Cook on HIGH for 2 to 3 minutes.
Porridge
Serves: 1
Ingredients:

cup quick cooking oats 60 ml

teaspoon salt 1 ml
Method:
Combine all ingredients in a breakfast bowl. Cook on
HIGH for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring halfway through
cooking. Let stand 1 to 2 minutes before serving.
Top as desired with sugar or spices.
Hot Lemon and Honey Drink
Makes: 1
Ingredients:

Method:
Mix all ingredients in a 2-cup (500 ml) heatproof jug.
Cook on HIGH for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir well.
Tea
Serves: 1
Ingredients:

cup hot tap water 190 ml
1 tea bag 1
Method:
Pour water into a heatproof cup. Cook on HIGH for
1 to 2 minutes. Submerge tea bag in water. Stand
until desired strength is reached. Remove tea bag.
Add milk and sugar if desired. Stir.
Coffee
Serves: 1
Ingredients:

1 to 2 teaspoons instant coffee 5 to 10 ml
Method:
Pour water into a heatproof cup. Add coffee. Stir.
Cook on HIGH for 1 to 2 minutes. Add milk and
sugar if desired. Stir.
Hot Cocoa
Makes: 1 cup (250 ml)
Ingredients:
2 teaspoons cocoa powder 10 ml
1 teaspoon sugar 5 ml
2 tablespoons water 30 ml

Method:
Combine cocoa, sugar and water in a heatproof cup.
Cook on HIGH for 10 to 15 seconds. Stir in milk.
Cook on MED HIGH for 1 to 2 minutes.
Grilled Cheese on Toast
Serves: 2 to 4
Ingredients:
4 slices breads 4
butter for spreading
4 slices tasty cheese 4
Method:
Preheat oven on Grill 1.
Cook one side of bread on Grill 1 for 3 minutes.
Spread untoasted side with butter and top with
cheese slices.
Cook on Grill 1 for 3 to 5 minutes.
