DVD Recorder
Connecting a Set Top Box, satellite receiver, decoder
You can connect a Set Top Box to receive digital terrestrial signals (DVB-T),
a Satellite receiver (digital / analogue) or a decoder for decrypting programmes.
Disconnect the power from all units.
Connect the external device with a 21-pin Scart cable to the AV2 connection
of the DVD Recorder.

Connect the DVD Recorder and the external device to the power supply.

Changing the settings in the SETUP menu when connecting a decoder

Press FUNCTIONS in stop mode.

Use to select [To Others] and confirm with ENTER.
!
Use to select SETUP and confirm with ENTER.
!
Use to select [Connection], , to select [AV2 Settings] and confirm
with ENTER.
!
In the next screen, use to select [AV2 Connection] and confirm with ENTER.
!
Use to select [Decoder (D/H) (DVD / HDD) or (VHS)] and confirm with ENTER.
!
Press RETURN and use to return to [Connection].

Use to select [Tuning], , to select [Manual] and confirm with ENTER.

Use to select an encrypted station and press ENTER.
!
In the Manual Tuning sub-menu, use to select [Decoder] and ,
to select [On].

Confirm the setting with ENTER.
