When recording dual-channel or multi-audio TV programmes on DVD-R,
DVD-RW or +R, only one audio channel can be recorded.
Programmed recording
The TV programme list for the GUIDE Plus+ system is downloaded at night between
02:50 and 05:10. If you want to record during this time, set the [Auto Download Priority]
in the Setup menu of the GUIDE Plus+ system to [Timer Prog.].
When recording on DVD-RAM in [EP mode (8 Hours)], playback may not be possible
on DVD-RAM-compatible DVD players. In this case, select [EP mode (6 Hours)].
[EP (6Hours)] provides better sound quality than [EP (8Hours)].
Long recordings are divided into 8-hour segments.
Once the recording is complete, the unit needs about 30 seconds to record
administration data.
Almost all videos and DVD-Videos available in stores are copy protected. The content of
such media cannot be copied with this unit.
