Why does ringing call suddenly stop when moving between CS/repeater zones with my Panasonic KX-A405?
    • Z
      zmendozaSep 2, 2025
If a ringing call suddenly stops when moving between CS/repeater zones on your Panasonic Repeater, it may be due to a delay when moving from a CS zone to a repeater zone when receiving a call in group ring mode. To prevent this, answer the call before moving between CS/repeater zones.

    • M
      Mitchell MartinAug 29, 2025
If you cannot register your Panasonic Repeater and the STATUS LED and RSSI/ID LED flash green and red alternately, it could be due to the CS being out of range. Try moving the repeater closer to the CS and repeat the registration procedure. Also, make sure that the CS is turned on.

    • C
      Carolyn CarterAug 27, 2025
Poor audio quality on your Panasonic Repeater can occur if the CS is out of range. To resolve this, move the repeater closer to the CS. Also, check if the PS is out of range; if so, move the PS closer to the repeater.

What to do if I hear a repeating tone while talking using the Panasonic KX-A405 Repeater handset?

      Michael BarnesAug 27, 2025
If you hear a repeating tone while talking on the handset, or the & indicator is amber and the w indicator flashes green on your Panasonic Repeater, it means the {PROGRAM} button was accidentally pressed, putting the unit in programming mode. To exit programming mode, simply press the {PROGRAM} button again. Avoid pressing {PROGRAM} unless you are deregistering the unit.

What to do if my Panasonic KX-A405's & indicator and ID indicator flash green and red alternately?
    • P
      Patricia JonesAug 22, 2025
If the & indicator and ID indicator on your Panasonic DECT repeater are flashing green and red alternately, it indicates an alarm. This usually happens because the ID of your DECT repeater is the same as another DECT repeater registered to the same base unit. To fix this, deregister both units and then re-register them near the base unit. To deregister, unplug the AC adapter, press and hold the {PROGRAM} button, then reconnect the AC adapter while still holding {PROGRAM}. Keep holding for about 10 seconds until the & indicator stops flashing and lights red, then release {PROGRAM}. If deregistration fails (the & indicator flashes green), try again. To re-register, unplug the AC adapter and follow the steps from 'Installation/Registering the DECT repeater to the base unit'.
