Temporary
Hyphen (Soft
Hyphen)
A Temporary
Hyphen
enables
you
to
hyphenate
words
that
fall
within the Hot Zone
(between
the
bell
and
the
right
margin).
A
Temporary Hyphen triggers an Auto Return
and should only
be
used in the AUTO
typing mode. Because
the
temporary
hyphen enables you
to fit more characters on a
line, it
gives
the
right margin a less ragged appearance.

Temporary Hyphen
1 Type until
you
hear the "beep" (bell) as you
