1.10 IP Video Doorphone Call (KX-NTV160)
Using the SIP Outgoing Call function, bidirectional voice communications and 1 way (IP Video Doorphone
® other PBX terminal) video communications are executed between IP Video Doorphones and other PBX
terminals.
Note
IP Video Doorphone is registered as a SIP extension.
1.
Make a call
There are 2 ways to establish a voice communication with an IP Video Doorphone.
a. Make a call from the IP Video Doorphone to the internal/external line.
b. Make a call from an internal line to the IP Video Doorphone.
2. Make a call from doorphone
1. Pressing the call button (A) of the IP Video Doorphone to start a call.

Users can set a callee (internal line number) from the doorphone with the embedded Web menu.
External lines are selectable for callees too. We call this phone number a SIP outgoing number. Please
refer to page 61.
