Optical Zoom
You can zoom in without degrading the picture quality.
Maximum magnification: 16x
This function is not available in the following case:
Panorama Shot Mode
When recording with [Macro Zoom]
Extended optical zoom
This function works when picture sizes with [ ] have been selected in [Picture Size].
Extended optical zoom allows you to zoom in using a higher zoom ratio than Optical
Zoom, without degrading the picture quality. The maximum zoom ratio varies depending
on the picture size.
Maximum magnification: 32x (Including the optical zoom ratio.)
This function is not available in the following cases:
Creative Video Mode
Panorama Shot Mode
[Handheld Night Shot] (Scene Guide Mode)
[Toy Effect], [Toy Pop] (Creative Control Mode)
When recording 4K photos
When recording using [Post Focus]
When [HDR] is set to [ON]
When [Multi Exp.] is set
When [iHandheld Night Shot] is set to [ON]
When [iHDR] is set to [ON]
When [Quality] is set to [

]
When recording with [Macro Zoom]
During motion picture recording
