Reading the Operating Instructions (PDF format)
More detailed instructions on the operation of this camera are contained in
“Operating Instructions for advanced features (PDF format)” in the supplied DVD.
∫ For Windows
1 Turn the PC on and insert the DVD containing the Operating Instructions
(supplied).
•
If the automatic playback screen is displayed, you can display the menu by selecting and
executing [Launcher.exe].
• In Windows 8/Windows 8.1, you can display the menu by clicking a message that is
displayed after inserting the DVD and then selecting and executing [Launcher.exe].
• You can also display the menu by double-clicking [SFMXXXX] in [Computer] (XXXX
differs depending on the model).
2 Click the [Operating Instructions].
•
The list of Operating Instructions (PDF format) will be displayed.
3 Click the language of the Operating Instructions you want to open.
•
The “Operating Instructions for advanced features (PDF format)” will open.
You can save the “Operating Instructions for advanced features” on the PC.
• You will need Adobe Reader to browse or print the “Operating Instructions for advanced
features (PDF format)”.
You can download and install a version of Adobe Reader that you can use with your OS from the
following website.

1 Turn the PC on and insert the DVD containing the Operating Instructions
(supplied).
2 Open the “Manual” folder in the DVD.
3 Double click the [INDEX.pdf].

The list of Operating Instructions (PDF format) will be displayed.
4 Click the language of the Operating Instructions you want to open.
•
The “Operating Instructions for advanced features (PDF format)” will open.
You can save the “Operating Instructions for advanced features” on the PC.
• You can also open the “Operating Instructions for advanced features (PDF format)” directly
from the
“Manual” folder.
