11. Using the Wi-Fi/NFC Function
A Wi-Fi connection using NFC function is possible by touching the smartphone to this unit,
and you can easily transfer images displayed on the screen.
An image can be sent on site immediately after taking it, so you can easily send it to the
smartphone

of your family or friend.
¢ Installing the “Image App” is required for use.
Preparation: Set [NFC Operation] to [ON]. (P331)
Set [Touch Sharing] to [ON]. (P331)
1 Play back the picture in the camera.
2 Launch “Image App” on the smartphone.

If a message appears stating that a camera
search is in progress, close the message.
3 While [ ] is displayed on the connection
screen of the “Image App”, touch the
smartphone to [ ] of the camera.
•
It may take time to complete the connection.
• If a connection attempt by touching fails, restart
the “Image App”, and then display the screen
in step
2 again.
• To transfer more than one image, repeat steps
1 and 3.
(They cannot be transferred as a batch.)
• Depending on the environment you are using, it may take a few minutes to complete the image
transfer.
Using the NFC function to easily transfer images on the camera
The NFC function is not available for iOS devices (iPhone/iPod touch/iPad).
