Trouble Shooting
Please check the following first if you have any problems.
Problem Possible cause Solution
The appliance won’t
run.
Unplugged at socket outlet. -
Mains lead fuse blown. -
Thermal protector tripped. -
Plug in firmly, turn on the -
appliance.
Check fuse and replace it if -
blown.(see page 4)
Unplug the appliance, allow to -
cool and thermal protector will
reset itself.(see page 3)
Please clean up dust bin and -
filter in the dust bin.
Poor job of dirt pick-
up.
Full or clogged dust bin. -
Worn beater bar. -
Clogged nozzle. -
Clogged hose. -
Hole in hose. -
Hose not inserted fully. -
Dirty filters. -
Empty dust bin.(see page - 8)
Replace a new beater bar. -
(see page 14)
Check for clogs.(see page - 11)
Check for clogs.(see page - 11)
Take to your nearest -
Panasonic Service Centre.
Check hose connection. -
(see page 6)
Clean the dust bin. -
(see page 10)
Replace a new HEPA exhaust -
filter.(see page 14)
Beater bar does not
turn.
Selection beater bar switch
-
at “OFF” position.
Overload protection reset -
button on the nozzle tripped.
Move selection beater bar -
switch to “ON” position.
Move selection ON/OFF switch -
to “OFF”position.
Unplug the appliance, remove -
the dust from the nozzle
opening.(see page 9)
Push the overload protection -
reset button to reset.
(see page 5)

contacts can be found in “GUARANTEE”, the separate paper which has been attatched with
the appliance.
