Maintenance of external surfaces
Clean
it with
a
cloth, dampened in a mild solution
of
soap
and
water.
Do not clean
the cabinet with benzine or thinner.
Avoid
excessive
moisture.
Avoid
spray
aerosol
type
cleaner.

contain
corrosive
chemicals
that
may cause
internal
damage and
cabinet
deformation.
Tape head care
To
assure
sound quality
for
recording and
playback,
be
sure
to
clean the
tape
heads
after approximately every
10
hours
of
use.

tab
inside

Clean the portions which
contact
the
tape (the shaded
portions
in the figure) with
a
cotton swab.
Do not
use
any
solution other than
alcohol
for
head
cleaning.

Open the disc holder
and

the lens
with a blower
(not
included). If the lens
is extremely
dirty, clean it with a cotton
swab.
