      Steven OwenSep 4, 2025
If the picture on your TV disappears or stripes appear when using the Panasonic Stereo System, the antenna's location or orientation may be incorrect. If you're using an indoor antenna, switch to an outdoor one. Also, ensure the TV antenna wire is separated from the unit.

Why does Panasonic Stereo System say TAKE OUT DISC?
    • L
      Lisa FergusonSep 8, 2025
If your Panasonic Stereo System displays “TAKE OUT/DISC” or the picture doesn't appear on the TV when playing a DVD or Video CD, condensation may have formed inside the unit due to a sudden temperature change. Wait about an hour for it to clear and try again. If that doesn't work, there may be a problem with the disc mechanism (possibly due to a power failure). The tray will open automatically; remove the disc, ensure the tray is empty, and then close it. The unit will make disc-changing noises for a few moments and should then operate normally. Also, ensure the disc's region number matches the unit's region number.
