(For video CDs)
This function allows you to listen from the point of the track
where play stopped because the unit was turned off (or
switched to stop mode).
(For audio CDs and MP3)
This function allows you to listen from the beginning of the
track where play stopped because the unit was turned off
(or switched to stop mode).
Set play mode selector to [RESUME]. A
Next time you start play, play will resume.
To cancel the resume mode
Set play mode selector to either [PBC OFF] or [NOR].
Note
Play may start from a position which is at a slight distance
from the place where the unit was turned off. (For video
CDs)
Opening the lid cancels the function. However, for video
CD and audio CD, it remains active if you open the lid
during off mode when the unit is powered by batteries.
Replacing the disc while in the off mode cancels the
function. However, for video CD and audio CD, it remains
active if you replace the disc during off mode when the
unit is powered by batteries.
Resume play does not function if you press [L OPR OFF]
during the multi screen display. (For video CDs)
(Video CDs only)
This function divides the TV screen into 9 parts and displays
the first five seconds of each track.
Preparation:
1. Set play mode selector to [PBC OFF].
2. Set the unit to the stop mode. (See page 18.)
3. Press [PLAY MODE] to cancel the repeat and random
modes. (See page 24.)
Press [MULTI SCREEN]. B
The first five seconds of tracks 1 to 9 are displayed in order.
To display the next group of tracks
Press [f NEXT].
To display the previous group of tracks
Press [g PREV].
To play a track C
Use one of the two methods.
A. Enter a track number.
B. Press [: SELECT] or [MULTI SCREEN] during the
five seconds the track is playing.
To select a two-digit track number:
Press [h10] then the numeric buttons corresponding to the
track number.
Example:
15: [h10]→[1]→[5]
24: [h10]→[2]→[4]
To cancel the multi screen mode D
Press [L].
Note
This function does not work in the program play mode,
repeat play mode or random play mode.
The track numbers are not displayed on the TV screen
when OSD is off.
