You cannot search when playing MP3 files.
•
If the disc is scratched or the condition of the recording
is poor, some noise may occur before the unit goes to
stop mode.

You can only skip tracks in the current album when in
album mode.

During program play (see page 48), these buttons are
used to skip forward or back through the programmed
sequence of tracks.

During random repeat (see page 46), the skip buttons
cannot be used to skip back to tracks that were played
previously in the random sequence.
