Wireless LAN
If you turn on/off the IEEE802.11a setting using the Wireless LAN Switch icon on the notification area, the setting in
[Device Manager] will accordingly be changed as below.
Perform either of the following procedures to check the network status in Intel
®
PROSet/Wireless Software.
• Double-click ,
or on the notification area.
• Click [start] - [All Programs] - [Intel PROSet Wireless] - [Intel PROSet Wireless].
NOTE
z The Wireless LAN Switch icons ( and ) indicate the on/off status of wireless LAN, not the IEEE802.11a set-
ting. To check the IEEE802.11a setting, click or on the notification area.
z When the Wireless LAN is turned on/off in Intel
®
PROSet/Wireless Software, the Wireless LAN Switch icon will be
changed accordingly.
