Security Measures

NOTE

 The hard disk lock function works with the built-in hard disk. It does not work with the external hard disk.

 We recommend you to set [Password On Boot] to [Enabled] to ensure security though it is not required to enable the

hard disk lock.

Disable CD/DVD drive operation to prevent the drive from being read/written and from being used to start the computer. You

can protect your data from unauthorized access or accidental overwriting.

1 Select [Disabled] in [Optical Drive] in the [Advanced] menu of the Setup Utility.

NOTE

 This does not work for USB CD/DVD drive.
