11.1.1.2. When replacing BBIC and X'tal
n Preparation:
1. PC setting refer to “Main Monitor Station (P.20).
2. Supply AC 230V.
Note:
Test points: Refer to Main Board (Bottom View) (P.99).
After finishing the adjustment, turn off and disconnect the 3-Wire cable.
No. Items Check Point Procedure
1 1.8 V Supply Adjustment CL437(BB1.8V) 1.Confirm that the voltage between test point CL437 and CL109 (GND) is
1.8 V ± 0.02 V.
2.Execute the command “VDD”, then check the current value.
3.Adjust the 1.8V voltage of BB1.8V executing command “VDD XX” (XX is the
value).
2 3.3 V Supply Confirmation CL438(BB3.3V) 1.Confirm that the voltage between test point CL438 and CL109(GND) is
3.3 V ± 0.2 V.
3 RF3.2 V Supply Confirma-
tion
CL436(RF3.2V) 1.Confirm that the voltage between test point CL436 and CL109(GND) is
3.2 V ± 0.2 V.
4 BBIC Clock Adjustment CL402(BCLK) 1.Confirm frequency between CL402 and CL109(GND).
2.Input Command “sfr”, then you can confirm the current value.
3.Check X’ tal Frequency. (10.368 MHz ± 100 Hz).
4.If the frequency is not 10.368 MHz ± 100 Hz, adjust the frequency of CKM
executing the command “sfr xx xx” (where xx xx is the value: d)
so that the reading of the frequency counter is 10.368000 MHz ± 5 Hz.
5 Transmitted Power Confir-
mation
AT461(ANT1) Remove the “SOLDERING JUNPERnear the AT461 before starting step
from 1 to 7.
1.Configure the DECT tester (CMD60) as follows;
<Setting>
Test mode: FP
Traffic Carrier: 5
Traffic Slot: 4
Mode: Loopback
PMID: 00000
RF LEVEL = -70 dBm.
2.Execute the command “PAP”.
3.Execute the command “TST”.
4.Check that “Signalling Status” has been set to “Locked”, then press
“ACCEPTRFPI”.
5.Initiate connection from Dect tester (“set up connect”)
6.Execute the command “ANT1”.
7.Confirm that the NTP value at ANT is 18.0 dBm ~ 22.0 dBm.
executing the command “PAP 58 70” (“PAP *8 70where * is the value:
* =7~5~3)
so that the reading of the NTP value is 20 ± 2 dBm.
Be care NOT to make Cable-loss between DECT tester and Target Set.
6 Modulation Check and
Adjustment
AT461(ANT1) Follow steps 1 to 6 of (4).
7.Confirm that the B-Field Modulation is -350 ± 50/+350 ± 50 kHz/div using
datatype Fig31.
7 Frequency Offset Check AT461(ANT1) Follow steps 1 to 6 of (4).
7.Confirm that the frequency offset is < ± 20 kHz.
8 Sensitivity Receiver Confir-
mation
AT461(ANT1) Follow steps 1 to 6 of (4).
7.Set DECT tester power to -88 dBm.
8.Confirm that the BER is < 1000 ppm.
9 Power RAMP Confirmation AT461(ANT1) Follow steps 1 to 6 of (4).
7.Confirm that Power RAMP is matching.
