      To address poor print quality on your Panduit Printer, reload the supply and clean the printhead and platen roller. Adjust the print density and print speed. Run a printer self-test to check the print head test pattern for missing dots. Ensure you are using compatible ribbon and label media. Adjust the printhead pressure adjustment knob. If the left side printout is too light, adjust the left side pressure adjustment knob to a higher index. If the pressure adjustment knob has been adjusted to index “5” and the print quality is still poor on the left side, adjust the pressure adjustment knob to index “1” and use the Z-axis adjustment knob to fine tune the pressure.       If your Panduit Printer indicates 'No Paper', supply a new label roll. If this doesn't solve the problem, the label might be installed incorrectly, so please refer to the user’s manual to reinstall the label roll. Also, the gap/black mark sensor may not be calibrated, so calibrate it.

If using a serial cable, replace it with one that is pin-to-pin connected and check the baud rate setting, the default is 9600,n,8,1. For Ethernet connections, verify the green LED is lit and the amber LED is blinking on the RJ-45 connector. Check the IP address if using DHCP or static IP. You may also need to change the cable, verify ribbon and media compatibility, ensure the ribbon-inked side is correct, reload the ribbon, and clean the printhead.
