PAR T GOLF DOUBLE EAGLE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL

SECTION F APPENDICES
PROBLEM #4: Large screen reads “Object in near, middle or far camera 20”
REASON: Camera is unplugged or a component damaged.
SOLUTIONS:
1. Ensure that the camera that
“sees” 20 is plugged in.
–
With vibration, the cable may loosen over a period of time. Make sure that
the camera is plugged in at the camera and at the Optisense module.
If this returns power to the Optisense, you are finished. If not, refer to
solution 2.
2. Replace camera cable –
Call Optronics for service ….. (801) 486-5407.
3. Replace camera –
Call Optronics for service ….. (801) 486-5407.
PROBLEM #5: Large screen reads “Object in near, middle or far camera (with a number)”
REASON: An object is in the line of sight of the camera.
SOLUTIONS:
1. Remove object from the line of
sight of the camera.
–
With play, small objects such as tee chips, bristles from the hitting surface
or a number of other small objects can interfere with the normal operation
of the cameras. Clean these areas thoroughly. It is recommended that the
putting surface be cleaned regularly to prevent this problem
If the machine returns to normal operation, you are finished. If not, refer
to solution 2.
2. Reduce the sensitivity level on the
camera.
–
Each camera is equipped with a sensitivity adjustment knob on top of each
camera. The sensitivity is numbered from 0 to 10, 0 being the least
sensitive and 10 being the most sensitive. If the camera continues to
activate without an object being “seen”, reduce the sensitivity level.
You may have to swing the Optisense down to make this adjustment or, if
you have enough room, you can access the knobs by using a ladder over
the front of the frame.
If the machine returns to normal operation, you are finished. If not, refer
to solution 3.
3. Replace camera –
Call Optronics for service ….. (801) 486-5407.
