Chapter 14 MAINTENANCE
By routinely following the simple scheduled maintenance outlined below, you can avoid costly down-time.
Maintenance should be scheduled on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to insure the maximum performance of
every component.
Use a small air compressor or a can of compressed air for regular dusting.
DAILY MAINTENANCE CHECKLIST

Vacuum Carpet –
Vacuum thoroughly each day, more often if needed.
MONTHLY MAINTENANCE CHECKLIST

Align Cameras –
Test alignment monthly, then re-aim and realign as needed.

Clean Infrared
Light Filters
–
Remove and clean both sides of the infrared shields with glass
cleaner.

Damp-wipe Infrared
Light Reflectors
–
Remove infrared shields, and using a damp cloth, wipe reflectors
around the bulbs.

Dust Cameras –
Dust thoroughly with compressed air.
_____
Dust Control Console –
Open the console door and carefully dust panel thoroughly with
compressed air. Be careful not to handle any parts inside the cabinet.

Dust Infrared
Light Fixtures
–
Dust thoroughly with compressed air.

Wash Ball Cup –
Clean the ball cup with a damp cloth.

Wash Control
Cabinet Exterior
–
Using a mild house–hold cleaner, clean the exterior console and
display.
AS NEEDED MAINTENANCE

Dust Projector –
Dust as needed to keep image crisp.
_____
Clean Screen –
As screen becomes soiled, it can be professionally dry cleaned, or
replaced.
IMPORTANT: Do not allow use of colored golf balls or golf balls which have been used outdoors.
Coloring and dirt may imbed in screen, making it harder to clean.

Putting Stencils –
Remark letters on the putting surface as needed to maintain legibility
at all times.
