GLOSSARY
Adhesive –
Approximately 5 gallons of a high-quality adhesive or glue should be
used to attach the putting surface (Carpet) to the plywood platform.

The Adhesive should be NON-FLAMMABLE and COMPATIBLE
with carpet backings.
Calibration Point –
One of three target points which you establish on the putting surface.
These points are used when first aiming and aligning the cameras and
from time to time as you re-aim or re-align your cameras.
Camera Alignment –
The process of accurately aiming each camera, relative to the other two
cameras, to provide proper ball flight information.
Camera Line –
The electronically numbered (or Calibrated) base (bottom) line of each
camera's triangular field of vision. Your understanding of the camera line
concept is essential for proper camera aiming.
Camera Sensitivity –
Rate at which the cameras receive light. This rate can be adjusted
manually.
Canopy –
The canopy is designed in one piece with a blue top and green sides. The
top and sides have been sewn together for maximum strength and
convenience when assembling. The Canopy is suspended from the steel
modular frame with snap connector belts.
Chips –
Computer chips which are attached to the circuit boards.
Control Console –
The control center for the Double Eagle. It contains the computer.
Dedicated Circuit –
An electrical circuit, complete with breaker, used only by a single user,
such as the Double Eagle.
Default Settings –
Pre-selected beginning options, such as golf course, game and distance
readings in either yards or meters. Some settings are factory
programmed, others can be changed.
Drive Light –
A 50 watt reflector floodlight which is attached to the the Par T
Optisense. It illuminates the golfer's driving area.
Duplex Electrical
Outlet Box
–
A standard, metal or plastic electrical box with two receptacles outlets.
Electronic Cables –
Cables connecting the control console with the other electronic
components.
Field Of Vision –
A vertical, triangular area which is visible to each Camera. Cameras
detect any object or movement within its field of vision.
Hacker Guards –
A blue, canvas protective harness for the Optisense.
