TROUBLESHOOTING
Kettle Circuit Breaker:
The kettle switch will be inactive if the kettle circuit breaker is tripped. If the popcorn machine is
plugged in and the kettle switch is on but neither the ready or wait indicator lights are on, the kettle
circuit breaker may have been tripped. Troubleshooting section of this manual.
Kettle Left Unattended Auto-Shutoff:
If the kettle is left on for more than 30 minutes without popping popcorn, the kettle will automatically
shutoff. If the kettle is above approximately 120 degrees Fahrenheit, then the amber “WAIT” light will
flash repeatedly. If below approximately 120 degrees Fahrenheit, then both the green “READY” and
amber “WAIT” lights will be off even thought the kettle switch is in the ON position. To re-activate the
kettle, turn the kettle switch to the OFF position and then back to the ON position and the amber WAIT
light or green READY light will illuminate depending on the kettle’s current temperature.
Kettle High Temperature Auto-Shutoff:
If the kettle gets too hot and the kettle control will automatically shut off the kettle. In order to re-
activate the kettle, the temperature must be measured at safe levels again.
