Setting Up Your New Product
1. Remove all packaging, protective manufacturing plastic covering on metal parts, and tape prior
to operation.
2. Place machine on a sturdy, level countertop or stand (sold separately). If assembling the
machine onto a stand, see the Stand Installation Section for important details and steps.
3. If using the Popcorn Machine on a countertop, we recommend using the four (4) feet provided
with the popcorn machine. To install the feet, simply place the popcorn machine on a flat,
stable surface while making sure not to pinch any cords. Lift each corner of the popcorn
machine and screw in each of the four (4) feet into the screw holes located underneath the
popcorn machine at each corner.
4. Make sure kettle lead-in cord is securely plugged into unit, and the locking ring is fully twisted
onto the kettle receptacle. For kettle removal and installation steps see the Kettle Assembly
section.
5. The main power cord extends out the bottom of the popper. Base units are provided with 3 exit
holes to route the power cord out of the cabinet. Before plugging in the machine, have a
certified electrician install the wall receptacle and follow all requirements listed in the Electrical
Requirements section of this manual. The small power cord (6 pin Jones Plug) is the oil pump
harness which supplies power to the oil dispense unit. Refer to the Bag-in-a-Box or Bucket Pump
Instruction Manual included with the oil unit, to connect the oil dispense system to the popper
and to add oil.
6. After setup, the unit should be cleaned. The kettle has a food grade protective coating applied
to the cooking surfaces, this coating must be removed prior to operating the unit (see Care and
Cleaning section of this manual).
