1. Safety instructions

Every unit is equipped with an electric disconnecting switch
for operating in safe conditions. Always use this device in order to
eliminate risks maintenance.

e manual is intended for the end-user, only for operations
performable with closed panels: operations requiring opening
with tools must be carried out by skilled and quali ed personnel.

e safety devices on the compressed air circuit must be pro-
vided for by the user.
Before starting any maintenance operations, make sure that the
circuits are not under pressure.
Only use the unit for professional work and for its intended pur-
pose.
e user is responsible for analysing the application aspects for
product installation, and following all the applicable industrial and
safety standards and regulations contained in the product instruc-
tion manual or other documentation supplied with the unit.
Tampering or replacement of any parts by unauthorised personnel
and/or improper machine use exonerate the manufacturer from all
responsibility and invalidate the warranty.
e manufacturer declines and present or future liability for dam-
age to persons, things and the machine, due to negligence of the
operators, non-compliance with all the instructions given in this
manual, and non- application of current regulations regarding
safety of the system.

2. Introduction
Foreword
Read this manual carefully to ensure that you install and operate
this unit correctly.
Transport / Handling
• Use li ing equipment of suitable capacity to li and move the
unit (fork li etc.).
• Protect the unit from impact to prevent damage to internal
components.
• e manufacturer assumes no liability for damages
• Which may be caused by decayed or modi ed packaging.
Inspection
As soon as you receive the unit, check its condition; if you notice
any damage inform the carrier immediately.
3. Assembly (see Fig. 1)
N.B.: For anged models, if the optional counter anges/gaskets
kit has not been acquired these must be supplied by the user.
3.1 - Mounting a ercooler
e unit can either be wall mounted (using customer supplied
brackets) or oor mounted using the legs, either supplied as stand-
ard or available as an optional depending upon the model.
3.2 - Mounting the legs (see Fig. 3)
Place the a ercooler (1) upside down on the ground; screwthe legs
(3) onto the bottomplate (2) using the nuts and bolts (4).
3.3 - Mounting separator model STH
Screw the separator onto the a ercooler outlet (for models 004-
014 use the curve (4 - Fig. 3)).
3.4 - Mounting separator model SFH
Connect one gasket and counter ange respectively to the a er-
cooler inlet and separator outlet, using the supplied bolts. Place
the third gasket between the a ercooler outlet and separator inlet,
and connect those using the supplied bolts.
3.5 - Models 018-038 without separator
Connect one gasket and counter ange respectively to the a er-
cooler inlet and outlet, using the supplied bolts.
