Reassembly

Begin Motor Assembly
Replace back up ring.
Replace back up washer.
Install shaft seal.
1. Holding motor and thrust package at 90
degrees, slide backup ring inside hous-
ing past the bearing package.
2. The back up ring will lay at into the
groove of housing seal cavity.
1. Place motor housing in a soft jawed vice
with nose pointed down.
2. Using grease provided in seal kit, apply
a layer into front radial bearing.
Slide thin at washer (with either side down)
past the thrust package and onto the backup
ring.
1. Lubricate both sides of the shaft seal.
2. Insert seal, with lip facing out or towards
the motor sections.
3. Use ngers to press shaft seal rmly into
housing seal groove until it makes con-
tact with back up washer.
Install thrust-out bearing. Make sure the thrust bearing stays in
between the two washers.
